Graham County, NC- The Cherokee Lady Braves volleyball team made the short trip to Graham County Tuesday night for a highly anticipated matchup between the top two teams in the Conference.
Reining Conference champion Robbinsville came into the match 11-3 overall with a lone SMC loss. The Lady Braves entered Tuesday night 12-3 overall and undefeated in the Conference.
The Maroon and Gold made quick work of Robbinsville on the court, sweeping the Black Knights in three sets, 25-13, 26-24, and 25-15.
Cherokee is now has a 2 game cushion over all other SMC teams in the race for a conference championship.
The Lady Braves will be back in action on Thursday at home vs Andrews.
