Arrest Made for Stolen Truck & Firearm
Sylva PD recently conducted an investigation into the larceny of a citizen’s Chevrolet Silverado truck and a firearm. The vehicle was recovered the next day in another county.
The investigation & subsequent evidence led officers to Cleat Chris Fox.
Today, Fox was arrested and charged for stealing the truck and the firearm.
The firearm has not been recovered at this point.
“I’m happy that we were able to solve this so quickly. We still need to recover that firearm. Our investigators are working hard to locate the gun. If anyone has knowledge of its whereabouts please contact local law enforcement at 828.586.1911.” – Chris Hatton, Chief of Sylva Police Department, NC
